# Origin Framework

## Welcome to Origin

<figure><img src="/files/sKud9fuA9WowMoEIN3Bc" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Overview

The **Origin platform** is designed to onboard and manage **intellectual property** (IP) within Camp’s registry. It comprises two main components: the Origin APIs and the Origin Smart Contracts, which form the core of the system.\ <br>

The Origin Smart Contracts consist of three major modules:

* **IpNFT**
* **Marketplace**
* **Dispute Module**

The Origin APIs are a suite of tools and resources that enable developers to integrate with and interact with the Origin platform. They provide a simple, consistent interface for accessing platform data and functionality, and support a wide range of authentication methods (including OAuth). Additionally, the APIs facilitate access to data from various third-party platforms—such as Spotify, Twitter, TikTok, and others—allowing developers to incorporate these services into their applications and leverage user data effectively within Camp’s registry.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.campnetwork.xyz/origin-v1/origin-framework.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
